Infuse slowly to prevent hypotension or dizziness
-
Duration and frequency depend on the severity and site of bleeding
When Not to Use / Contraindications

Precautions & Warnings
-
Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment – dose adjustment required
-
Avoid in patients with a history of thrombosis or clotting disorders
-
Monitor for visual disturbances during prolonged therapy
-
Risk of seizures with high IV doses
-
Not recommended for use in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage due to risk of cerebral ischemia
Drug Interactions

Quick Tips
-
Always infused under hospital supervision
-
Inform your doctor if you have a history of blood clots or seizures
-
Report symptoms like sudden chest pain, leg swelling, or shortness of breath immediately
-
Avoid alcohol and smoking, as these increase clotting risks
