Uses
Zetro (Azithromycin 250mg) is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections such as:

⚠️ Note: Zetro is effective only against bacterial infections — it does not work for viral illnesses like flu or common cold.
Dosage

Adults: 500mg once daily for 3 days OR as directed by your doctor depending on infection type.

For mild infections: 250mg–500mg once daily for 3–5 days.

Children (based on body weight): 10mg/kg once daily for 3 days (only under medical supervision).
💊 Take with or without food, but preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal for better absorption.
In Case of Overdose
Symptoms may include severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, temporary hearing loss, or irregular heartbeat.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one.
⚠️ Do not double up doses to make up for a missed capsule.

When Not to Use
