Description
Azitma (200mg/5ml) Suspension contains Azithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic that helps fight a wide range of bacterial infections in children and adults. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria responsible for infections in the lungs, throat, ears, sinuses, and skin.
This suspension is specially formulated for children who have difficulty swallowing tablets or capsules. It provides effective relief with a short 3 to 5-day treatment course and once-daily dosing for convenience.

Uses
Azitma Suspension is used to treat bacterial infections such as:

Dosage
⚠️ Follow the doctor’s prescription carefully. Do not self-medicate.

Children (based on body weight):

10mg/kg body weight once daily for 3 days, or as prescribed by the doctor.

500mg on Day 1, followed by 250mg once daily for 4 days (if prescribed in suspension form).

In Case of Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, temporary hearing problems.

Missed Dose

If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one.
