Effidex Ointment contains Fluocinolone Acetonide 0.05% w/w, a potent topical corticosteroid used for the relief of inflammation and itching in various skin conditions. It works by reducing redness, swelling, and irritation associated with allergic or inflammatory skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. The ointment base provides an occlusive effect, making it suitable for dry, thickened, or scaly lesions.
