Fusiderm (2%) 15g Ointment

Fusiderm 2% Ointment contains Fusidic Acid (2%), a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections. It is effective against infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria responsible for skin problems such as impetigo, infected eczema, and boils. The ointment helps stop bacterial growth, reduce inflammation, and promote faster healing of the affected skin.

Uses

Dosage

• Apply a thin layer of Fusiderm Ointment to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Continue use for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve earlier.

In Case of Overdose
Topical overdose is rare. Excessive application may cause skin irritation or redness. If the ointment is accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical advice.

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed dose. Do not apply extra ointment to make up for the missed dose.

How To Use

1. Clean and dry the affected skin area before applying.

2. Apply a thin layer of ointment and gently rub it into the skin.

3. Wash hands after applying (unless treating hands).

4. Avoid covering the area with airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor.

5. For external use only — do not apply near eyes, mouth, or broken skin.
