Telfast (60mg) is a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and chronic urticaria (hives). It helps reduce sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin itching caused by allergies. The active ingredient, Fexofenadine Hydrochloride, blocks the effects of histamine, a substance produced in the body during allergic reactions.

Uses
Telfast 60mg is indicated for the treatment of:

• Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) — sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (long-term hives) — itching, redness, and swelling of the skin

Dosage

• Adults and Children (≥12 years): 60 mg twice daily or as directed by your doctor.

• Children (6–11 years): Usually not prescribed without medical supervision; lower doses may be recommended.

• Take with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

In Case of Overdose

• Symptoms may include dizziness, drowsiness, or dry mouth.

• Seek immediate medical help or contact a poison control center.

Missed Dose

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.

• If it’s almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one.

• Do not double the dose to make up for it.

How To Use

• Take orally with a full glass of water.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Avoid taking with fruit juices (orange, apple, or grapefruit juice) as they may reduce absorption.

• Take the medicine at the same time each day for best results.

When Not to Use
Do not use Telfast if you have:

• Hypersensitivity to Fexofenadine or any of its ingredients

• Severe kidney disease (without doctor supervision)

• Concurrent use of other antihistamines unless prescribed
