How To Use

Wrap the cuff snugly around the upper arm at heart level.

Place the stethoscope’s diaphragm over the brachial artery.

Inflate the cuff using the rubber bulb until pressure is about 20–30 mmHg above expected systolic pressure.

Slowly release the pressure while listening for Korotkoff sounds.

Note the systolic (first sound) and diastolic (last sound) readings from the dial gauge.
