Description
Penro (1000mg/20ml) Injection contains Meropenem, a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the carbapenem class. It is widely used to treat severe bacterial infections resistant to other antibiotics, particularly hospital-acquired infections. Penro works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.
It is typically given in hospitals for critical infections such as pneumonia, intra-abdominal infections, meningitis, urinary tract infections, and sepsis.
