Selsun 2.5% Suspension (60ml) is a medicated anti-dandruff and anti-fungal shampoo containing Selenium Sulfide 2.5% w/v. It helps treat and control dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and certain types of fungal scalp infections such as tinea versicolor.
Selsun works by reducing scalp flaking, itching, and irritation, while also limiting excess oil and fungal growth on the scalp. It is suitable for adults and adolescents and provides a clean, healthy, and flake-free scalp with regular use.

Uses / Indications

• Treatment and control of dandruff

Dosage

• For Scalp Conditions (Dandruff/Seborrheic Dermatitis):

  • Apply twice a week for the first 2 weeks, then once a week or as directed by your doctor.

• For Tinea Versicolor (Skin Fungal Infection):

  • Apply to the affected area, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse off.

  • Use daily for 7 days or as advised by your physician.

In Case of Overdose

• Overuse may cause scalp or skin irritation.

• If accidentally swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Missed Dose

• Use as soon as you remember.

• If it’s close to your next scheduled wash, skip the missed dose.

• Do not apply more than the recommended frequency.

How To Use

1. Shake the bottle well before use.

2. Wet the hair and scalp thoroughly.

3. Apply enough Selsun 2.5% suspension to cover the affected area.

4. Massage gently into the scalp to form a lather.

5. Leave on for 2–3 minutes for scalp treatment (or 10 minutes for skin infections).

6. Rinse thoroughly with water.

7. Wash hands well after application.

8. Repeat as recommended by your doctor or once weekly for maintenance.
