Zurig 40mg Tablets
Zurig 40mg contains Febuxostat 40mg, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor that lowers uric acid levels in the blood. It helps prevent gout attacks, joint pain, swelling, and inflammation caused by uric acid crystal buildup in the joints.

Uses

Dosage
Adults: 40mg once daily. If uric acid levels remain high after 2–4 weeks, dose may be increased to 80mg once daily. Take with or without food. Swallow whole with a glass of water. 💊 Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions exactly.
In Case of Overdose
Symptoms: Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abnormal liver function.
Action: Contact your doctor or nearest emergency center immediately.
Missed Dose
- Take as soon as remembered.
- If almost time for next dose, skip it.
- Do not double up to compensate.
How To Use
- Take once daily at the same time each day.
- Can be taken with or without meals.
- Continue regularly even without symptoms to prevent future attacks.
- Maintain a low-purine diet (avoid red meat, alcohol, seafood).

- Allergy to Febuxostat or any of its ingredients
- Severe liver or kidney disease
- History of heart attack, stroke, or heart failure

Side Effects
Common: Headache, nausea, diarrhea, joint pain during early treatment, abnormal liver function tests
Serious (rare): Chest pain, shortness of breath, severe skin rash or allergic reactions, yellowing of skin/eyes, swelling of face/lips/throat
