Augmentin (375mg) is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxicillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Clavulanic Acid prevents certain bacteria from inactivating amoxicillin, enhancing its effectiveness. Dosage
