Augmentin BD (1000mg) is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxicillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Clavulanic Acid protects amoxicillin from inactivation by certain bacteria, enhancing its effectiveness. Augmentin BD is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, sinusitis, and ear infections.

Dosage
