Genticyn Eye-Ear Drops contain Gentamicin 0.3% w/v, an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in the eyes and ears. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively eliminating a wide range of Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria, reducing inflammation, discharge, and infection-related discomfort.

Dosage

In case of Overdose
Missed Dose

How To Use
For Eyes:

Wash hands thoroughly before use.

Tilt head back and pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.

Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye.

Close eyes gently for a few minutes and avoid blinking excessively.
For Ears:

Wash hands before use.

Tilt head to the opposite side, keeping the affected ear upward.

Instill 3–4 drops into the ear canal.

Keep the head tilted for 1–2 minutes to allow absorption.
When Not to Use

Allergy to Gentamicin or other aminoglycosides.

Viral, fungal, or tuberculosis-related infections of the eye or ear.
