Velosef (500mg) 12 Capsules

Velosef contains Cefadroxil 500mg, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. It works by interfering with bacterial cell wall synthesis, causing bacterial death. Velosef is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and other mild to moderate bacterial infections.

Uses

Dosage

• Adults: 1 capsule every 12 hours, or as prescribed by a physician

In case of Overdose

• Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort

• Seek immediate medical attention if overdose occurs

Missed Dose

• Take the missed dose as soon as remembered

• If it is near the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose

• Do not double the dose

How To Use

1. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water

2. Take at evenly spaced intervals for the full prescribed duration

3. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve

When Not to Use

• Allergy to Cefadroxil, cephalosporins, or penicillins

• Use caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, particularly colitis
