Fixicef is an oral antibiotic suspension used to treat bacterial infections in children and adults. It contains cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, which works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, ear infections, and other bacterial infections.

Dosage

In case of Overdose

• Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

• Seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center

Missed Dose

• Take the missed dose as soon as possible

• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose

• Do not double the dose

How To Use

1. Shake the bottle well before measuring a dose

When Not to Use

• Allergy to cefixime, other cephalosporins, or penicillin

• Severe kidney disease unless under medical supervision
