Flosure is an oral medication containing tamsulosin hydrochloride. It belongs to the class of alpha-1 blockers and is primarily used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, which improves urine flow and reduces symptoms such as difficulty in urination, weak stream, and frequent urination.

Uses

Dosage

• Adults (men): One 0.4mg capsule once daily, preferably 30 minutes after the same meal each day

• Dosage adjustments may be required in elderly patients or those with kidney impairment

In case of Overdose

• Symptoms: Severe dizziness, fainting, low blood pressure

• Seek immediate medical attention

Missed Dose

• Take the missed dose as soon as possible

• Skip the dose if it is almost time for the next one

• Do not double the dose

How To Use

• Swallow the capsule whole with water

• Do not crush or chew

• Take at the same time each day, preferably after the same meal

When Not to Use

• Allergy to tamsulosin or other alpha-blockers

• Severe liver or kidney disease without medical supervision

Side Effects
