Icef DS is an oral antibiotic suspension used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics, which works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, helping to eliminate infections.

Dosage

Children: Usually 8mg/kg/day in two divided doses, or as prescribed by a doctor

Adults: Typically 200–400mg daily, in one or two divided doses, as prescribed

In case of Overdose

Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort

Missed Dose
