Magnett (100mg/5ml) 30ml Suspension

Magnett is an antibiotic suspension used to treat bacterial infections. It belongs to the macrolide class of antibiotics and works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, ear infections, throat infections, and skin infections.

Uses

Dosage

• Typically 10mg/kg on day 1, followed by 5mg/kg once daily for 4 more days in children

• Adults: Usually 500mg on day 1, then 250mg once daily for 4 more days

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve

In case of Overdose

• Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, or diarrhea

• Seek immediate medical attention if overdose occurs

Missed Dose

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember

• Skip the dose if it is almost time for the next one

• Do not double the dose

How To Use

• Shake well before each use

• Measure the dose with a proper measuring spoon or syringe

• Can be taken with or without food

When Not to Use

• Allergy to azithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics

• History of liver disease related to macrolide antibiotics

• Prolonged QT interval or heart rhythm problems without doctor supervision
