Description

DX3 Injection contains Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 5mg/ml, a fat-soluble vitamin essential for calcium and phosphorus absorption, healthy bones, teeth, and immune function. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin D deficiency, rickets, and osteomalacia.

Dosage

In Case of Overdose

Missed Dose

  • Take as soon as remembered.

  • Skip if it’s close to the next scheduled dose.

  • Do not double the dose.


How To Use

  • Administered via intramuscular injection only.

  • Known hypersensitivity to Vitamin D3 or any component

  • Hypercalcemia (high blood calcium)

Drug Interactions

  • Thiazide diuretics: ↑ risk of hypercalcemia

  • Digitalis (digoxin): ↑ risk of arrhythmias

  • Anticonvulsants (phenytoin, phenobarbital): ↓ Vitamin D levels

  • Steroids: May reduce Vitamin D effectiveness

  • Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture

  • Do not freeze

  • Dispose of unused ampoules safely according to local medical waste regulations
