Phlogin (75mg/3ml) Injection contains Diclofenac Sodium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling. It is commonly prescribed for musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis, post-operative pain, renal colic, and acute injuries.
It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation.

Common: Pain at injection site, nausea, dizziness, stomach upset
Less common: Headache, rash, indigestion, swelling
Serious: Stomach bleeding, liver/kidney problems, heart attack or stroke risk (with long-term/high doses)
Use with caution in patients with heart, liver, or kidney problems
Avoid alcohol during treatment (increases stomach bleeding risk)
Not recommended during pregnancy (especially 3rd trimester)
Use in breastfeeding only if prescribed
Long-term use requires regular monitoring of kidney/liver function
Anticoagulants (warfarin, heparin) → ↑ bleeding risk
Corticosteroids → ↑ stomach ulcer risk
Diuretics & antihypertensives → may reduce effectiveness
Methotrexate & cyclosporine → ↑ toxicity risk
Other NSAIDs → ↑ side effects
Store below 25°C, away from light and moisture
Keep ampoules in original packaging
Dispose of unused ampoules safely, as per medical waste guidelines
