Spiromide 20/50mg is a combination medication containing Spironolactone 20mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 50mg. This dual-action diuretic therapy helps manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and fluid retention (edema) associated with conditions like heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease. Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic that prevents the loss of potassium, while Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps eliminate excess sodium and water from the body.
