Spiromide 40/50mg is a combination medication containing Spironolactone 40mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 50mg. This dual-action diuretic therapy is designed to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and fluid retention (edema) associated with heart, kidney, or liver conditions. Spironolactone, a potassium-sparing diuretic, helps prevent potassium loss, while Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, removes excess sodium and water from the body. Together, they effectively reduce fluid overload, control blood pressure, and support cardiovascular health.
