Talmis-H 40/12.5mg is a combination medication containing Telmisartan 40mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg. This dual-action therapy helps control high blood pressure (hypertension) more effectively than single-agent therapy. Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), relaxes blood vessels and reduces strain on the heart. Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, removes excess water and sodium from the body, helping lower blood pressure.
