Xefecta 400mg contains Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial DNA replication, treating infections effectively. Common uses include respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, skin infections, and certain gastrointestinal and urinary infections.

Missed Dose

How To Use
- Take one tablet daily at the same time
- Can be taken with or without food
- Swallow whole with a full glass of water
- Complete the full course even if symptoms improve
- Avoid antacids or supplements with calcium, magnesium, iron, or zinc within 4 hours
When Not to Use
- Allergic to Moxifloxacin or other fluoroquinolones
- History of tendon disorders related to quinolone use
- Severe liver disease or QT prolongation
- Pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed
- Under 18 years of age
Side Effects
Common: Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, weakness, insomnia
