Description
Advacort (0.1%) Cream is a topical corticosteroid medication used to relieve symptoms of skin inflammation, such as redness, itching, and swelling caused by conditions like eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, allergic rashes, and insect bites.
It contains Hydrocortisone Butyrate 0.1%, a medium-strength steroid that works by suppressing inflammatory reactions in the skin and reducing irritation, redness, and discomfort. Suitable for short-term topical use under medical supervision.

Uses
Advacort Cream is used for:

Dosage

Missed Dose

How To Use

Wash your hands and clean the affected skin gently.

Pat the area dry before application.

Apply a small amount of Advacort Cream to the affected area.

Gently rub in a thin, even layer.

Wash your hands after use (unless treating the hands).

Avoid covering with bandages unless directed by a doctor.
When Not to Use
Do not use Advacort Cream if you:

Are allergic to Hydrocortisone or any ingredient in the cream.

Have viral, bacterial, or fungal skin infections (e.g., herpes, chickenpox, ringworm).

Have rosacea, acne, or perioral dermatitis.

Have open wounds or ulcers.
