Dermovate (0.05%) 20g Cream

Dermovate Cream contains clobetasol propionate 0.05%, a potent corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory skin conditions. It helps reduce redness, itching, swelling, and irritation caused by eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and other allergic skin disorders.

• Inactive Ingredients: Cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, chlorocresol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, and purified water.

Dosage
Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily as directed by a healthcare professional. Treatment duration should generally not exceed 2 consecutive weeks unless advised otherwise by a doctor.

In Case of Overdose
Topical overdose is rare but prolonged use or excessive application can lead to systemic absorption causing adrenal suppression or Cushing’s syndrome. Seek medical help immediately if symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, or swelling occur.

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the amount to make up for a missed application.

How To Use

1. Wash and dry the affected area before application.

2. Apply a small amount and gently rub until absorbed.

3. Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless directed by a doctor.

4. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin.

When Not to Use

• If allergic to clobetasol or any ingredient in the cream

• On untreated bacterial, fungal, or viral skin infections (e.g., acne, rosacea, chickenpox, herpes)

• In children under 12 years without medical supervision

• On the face, groin, or underarms unless prescribed

• Skin thinning or stretch marks with long-term use

• Acne-like eruptions or excessive hair growth

• Changes in skin color

• Rarely, systemic corticosteroid effects with prolonged use
