Dosage

• Adults:

In Case of Overdose

Symptoms: Severe dizziness, fainting, rapid heartbeat, or low blood pressure.

Missed Dose

• Take the missed dose as soon as remembered.

• Skip it if it’s almost time for your next scheduled dose.

• Do not double the next dose to make up for a missed one.

How To Use

• Take orally with a full glass of water, with or without food.

• Continue taking even if you feel well — high blood pressure often has no symptoms.

When Not to Use

• Hypersensitivity to Amlodipine or any calcium channel blocker

• Severe low blood pressure (hypotension)

• Aortic stenosis (narrowing of the heart valve)

• CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampicin, carbamazepine) – may reduce Amlodipine effectiveness

• Beta-blockers – may enhance blood pressure lowering effect
