Diclorep 50mg Tablets contain Diclofenac Sodium, a powerful non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for effective relief from pain, inflammation, and swelling caused by various conditions.
It works by blocking prostaglandin production, chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation. Diclorep provides quick and lasting relief from muscle pain, arthritis, sprains, and post-surgical discomfort, helping you move comfortably and restore daily activity.
Each tablet contains:
Diclofenac Sodium – 50 mg
Inactive ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other pharmaceutical excipients.

Diclorep 50mg Tablets are used to treat:
Rheumatoid arthritis
Osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
Muscle and joint pain
Backache and sprains
Postoperative pain and swelling
Dental pain
Menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)
Adults: 1 tablet two to three times daily as prescribed by a physician.
Maximum daily dose: 150 mg.
Children: Only if prescribed by a doctor.
Take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
Overdose symptoms may include:
Nausea or vomiting
Abdominal pain
Drowsiness or dizziness
Shortness of breath
Stomach bleeding or renal issues

Take as soon as remembered.
Skip if it’s almost time for the next dose.
Do not double the dose to make up for a missed tablet.
Take orally with water.
Preferably take after food or with milk to avoid stomach irritation.
Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew.
Follow the prescribed dosage and duration strictly.
Do not use Diclorep if you:
Are allergic to Diclofenac or other NSAIDs.
Have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding.
Suffer from heart, kidney, or liver disease.
Are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Have asthma or nasal polyps triggered by NSAIDs.
Are using other NSAIDs or painkillers containing similar ingredients.
Common:
Indigestion, heartburn, or stomach pain
Nausea or vomiting
Headache or dizziness
Diarrhea or constipation
Serious (seek immediate help):
Black or bloody stools
Chest pain or shortness of breath
Allergic rash, itching, or swelling
Severe abdominal pain
Liver or kidney dysfunction signs (fatigue, yellowing of skin/eyes)
Take with food to minimize gastric irritation.
Avoid alcohol and smoking while taking this medication.
Use cautiously in elderly patients or those with chronic diseases.
Do not combine with other NSAIDs or aspirin.
Regularly monitor liver and kidney function in long-term use.
Avoid during pregnancy (especially last trimester) and breastfeeding unless directed.
Diclorep may interact with:
Anticoagulants (Warfarin, Heparin) – increases bleeding risk
Corticosteroids – higher risk of ulcers
Antihypertensives and diuretics – reduced effectiveness
Methotrexate or Cyclosporine – increased toxicity
SSRIs (e.g., Sertraline) – risk of bleeding
Lithium or Digoxin – may raise blood levels
Always inform your doctor of all medicines you take.

Do not use after the expiry date.
