Axifen SR 100mg Tablets contain Ibuprofen (Sustained Release), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for long-lasting relief from pain, inflammation, and fever. The sustained-release formulation ensures prolonged pain control, reducing the need for frequent dosing.
It is commonly prescribed for arthritis, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, headache, and menstrual cramps, providing consistent and effective symptom relief throughout the day.
Each sustained-release tablet contains:
Ibuprofen (as Sustained Release formulation) – 100 mg
Inactive ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and other excipients.

Axifen SR 100mg is used to relieve:

Fever and general body pain
Adults: Usually 1 tablet once or twice daily after meals, as directed by the physician.
Children: Use only if prescribed by a doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration.
Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, headache, or low blood pressure.

Do not use Axifen SR if you:
Are allergic to Ibuprofen, Aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
Have a history of stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or perforation.
Have severe heart, liver, or kidney disease.
Are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Have experienced asthma, hives, or allergic reactions after taking NSAIDs.

Severe stomach pain, black/tarry stools, or vomiting blood

Axifen SR may interact with:
