Baclin 10mg Tablets contain Baclofen, a muscle relaxant and antispastic agent used to relieve muscle stiffness, pain, and spasms caused by various neurological or musculoskeletal conditions.
It works by acting on the spinal cord to reduce excessive muscle tone and improve movement, flexibility, and comfort. Baclin is commonly prescribed for conditions like multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and muscle spasms due to stroke or cerebral palsy.
Each tablet contains:
Baclofen – 10 mg
Inactive ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and other excipients.

Baclin 10mg Tablets are used for the treatment of:
Muscle stiffness and spasms caused by neurological disorders

Adults: The usual starting dose is 5 mg (half tablet) three times a day, gradually increased to 10–20 mg three times daily as directed by your physician.
Children: Dose is based on body weight and doctor’s prescription.
Do not stop the medication suddenly; taper off gradually under medical supervision.
Symptoms may include drowsiness, dizziness, muscle weakness, slow breathing, or loss of consciousness.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one.
Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.

Do not use Baclin if you:
Are allergic to Baclofen or any of its ingredients.
Have active peptic ulcer or severe stomach problems.
Suffer from epilepsy or psychiatric disorders without medical supervision.
Have severe kidney impairment (dose adjustment required).
Common side effects:
Drowsiness or dizziness
Weakness or fatigue
Nausea or vomiting
Dry mouth
Constipation
Serious (rare) side effects – seek medical help immediately:
Shortness of breath or irregular heartbeat
Confusion, hallucinations, or depression
Muscle weakness causing difficulty in movement
Seizures (in rare cases, especially if stopped suddenly)
Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems.
Avoid alcohol — it may increase drowsiness and dizziness.
Do not operate machinery or drive until you know how Baclin affects you.
Do not stop taking abruptly — may cause withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, hallucinations, or muscle spasms.
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using.
Baclin may interact with:
CNS depressants (e.g., alcohol, sedatives, sleeping pills, antihistamines)
Antihypertensive drugs (may enhance blood pressure-lowering effect)
Antidepressants (such as tricyclic antidepressants or SSRIs)
Levodopa (may increase muscle rigidity or tremors)
Lithium (may cause confusion or hallucinations)
