Description:

Co-Purpal 500/20mg Tablets combine Paracetamol (500mg) and Codeine Phosphate (20mg) to provide effective relief from moderate to severe pain that is not adequately controlled by paracetamol or ibuprofen alone.

This dual-action formula works by:

  • Paracetamol: reducing pain and fever by acting on the brain’s pain centers.

  • Codeine: a mild opioid that enhances pain relief by acting on the central nervous system.

Co-Purpal is commonly prescribed for short-term relief of pain associated with headaches, toothache, period pain, muscle aches, back pain, and post-surgical discomfort.

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:

  • Paracetamol – 500 mg

  • Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate – 20 mg

Inactive ingredients: Maize starch, povidone, stearic acid, talc, and microcrystalline cellulose.

Drug Class:

  • Analgesic (Opioid and Non-opioid Combination)
