Description

Capril 12.5mg Tablets contain Captopril, a medicine from the ACE (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme) inhibitor class. It is primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), heart failure, and post-heart attack recovery. Capril helps relax blood vessels, lower blood pressure, and improve blood flow, reducing strain on the heart. It also helps protect kidneys, especially in patients with diabetes.

In Case of Overdose

Symptoms: Extreme dizziness, fainting, very low blood pressure, rapid or irregular heartbeat.
Action: Seek immediate medical attention. Hospital treatment may be required to stabilize blood pressure.


Missed Dose

  • Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.

  • If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one.

  • Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed tablet.


How To Use

  • Take by mouth with a full glass of water, 1 hour before meals (food can reduce absorption).

  • Take doses at regular intervals each day for consistent effect.

When Not to Use

  • Hypersensitivity to Captopril or other ACE inhibitors
