Hixib 60mg Tablets contain Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce excess stomach acid. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, heartburn, and stomach ulcers.
Esomeprazole works by blocking the proton pumps in the stomach lining, thereby decreasing acid production. This helps relieve symptoms of heartburn, acid regurgitation, and discomfort, while allowing the esophagus and stomach to heal from inflammation or ulceration.
Each tablet contains:
Esomeprazole 60mg
Inactive ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, and other excipients.
