Alcuflex 550mg tablets are an effective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with various musculoskeletal and joint conditions. Each tablet provides long-lasting relief, helping you manage discomfort caused by arthritis, muscle pain, backache, menstrual pain, or post-operative pain.
Active Ingredient: Naproxen Sodium 550mg
Inactive Ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, and other excipients.
Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)
Film-coated tablets
Relief from mild to moderate pain (muscle pain, back pain, and joint pain)
Management of inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
Relief from menstrual cramps and post-surgical pain
Reduces swelling and stiffness in joints
Adults: Usually 1 tablet (550mg) initially, then 275mg every 6–8 hours as needed.
Maximum daily dose: Should not exceed 1375mg in 24 hours.

Symptoms may include drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. Seek immediate medical help or contact your nearest emergency department.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one — do not double the dose.
Take Alcuflex tablets with food or milk to avoid stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not crush or chew.
If you are allergic to naproxen or any other NSAIDs (like aspirin or ibuprofen)
If you have active stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe heart/kidney/liver disease
During the last trimester of pregnancy unless prescribed
Stomach upset, nausea, or indigestion

Heartburn or abdominal pain
Rarely: rash, swelling, or allergic reactions
