Aximox (400mg) Tablet contains Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria and preventing them from forming cell walls.

Uses

Aximox Tablets are used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

  • Skin and soft tissue infections

Dosage

⚠️ Take Aximox only as prescribed by your physician.

  • Adults: 250–500mg every 8 hours or 500–875mg every 12 hours depending on infection severity.

  • Children: Dosage based on body weight (usually 20–40mg/kg/day divided in doses).

  • For mild infections: 250mg every 8 hours.

  • For severe infections: 500mg every 8 hours.

  • Always complete the full course to prevent antibiotic resistance.


In Case of Overdose

  • Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, or imbalance of fluids/electrolytes.

  • Seek immediate medical help or contact a poison control center.


Missed Dose

  • Take as soon as you remember.

  • If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one.

  • Do not double the dose to make up for the missed tablet.


How To Use

  1. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

  2. Can be taken with or without food (taking with meals may reduce stomach upset).

When Not to Use
