Uses
Azitma 250mg Tablets are used for treating:

Dosage

Adults:

Typical dose: 500mg once daily for 3 days OR

500mg on Day 1 followed by 250mg once daily on Days 2–5.

Tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
In Case of Overdose

Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hearing problems.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.

If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one.

Do not double the dose to make up for it.
How To Use

Take Azitma exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet whole with water.

It may be taken with or without food (preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals).

Continue for the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early.
When Not to Use
Do not use Azitma if you:

Are allergic to azithromycin, erythromycin, or any other macrolide antibiotics.

Have a history of liver disease or jaundice caused by previous antibiotic use.

Have heart rhythm disorders (QT prolongation).

Are taking ergot derivatives (used for migraines).
