Description
Bactroban (2%) Skin Ointment contains Mupirocin, a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, minor cuts, wounds, and infected eczema.
It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes. Bactroban is fast-acting and suitable for localized skin infections, promoting healing and preventing the spread of infection.
