Description:

Campex-P Tablets contain a combination of Tramadol Hydrochloride (37.5mg) and Paracetamol (325mg).
This medicine provides powerful and fast-acting relief from moderate to severe pain such as that caused by injury, surgery, arthritis, or other musculoskeletal conditions.

Tramadol acts on the brain to reduce the perception of pain, while Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) enhances pain relief and helps reduce fever.
Together, they offer effective dual-action pain control while minimizing the required dose of each ingredient.


Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:

  • Tramadol Hydrochloride – 37.5 mg

  • Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) – 325 mg

Inactive ingredients: Starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, povidone, and other excipients.


Drug Class:

  • Opioid Analgesic + Non-Opioid Analgesic (Combination Pain Reliever)


Dosage Form:

  • Oral Tablet


Uses:

Campex-P is used for the relief of moderate to moderately severe pain, including:

  • Postoperative pain (after surgery or dental procedures)

  • Muscle or joint pain

  • Backache and sprains

  • Arthritis and osteoarthritis pain

  • Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)

  • Pain due to injury or trauma


Dosage:

  • Adults and adolescents (over 12 years):

    • 1 to 2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed for pain.

    • Do not exceed 8 tablets per day.

  • Children under 12 years: Not recommended.

  • Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.


In Case of Overdose:

⚠️ Overdose can be dangerous or fatal.
Symptoms may include:

  • Extreme drowsiness or confusion

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Sweating, abdominal pain

  • Liver damage (due to paracetamol overdose)
    👉 Seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center.


Missed Dose:

  • Take the missed dose as soon as you remember if needed for pain.

  • If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one.

  • Do not double the dose.


How to Use:

  1. Take tablets by mouth with water, with or without food.

  2. Swallow whole — do not crush or chew.

  3. Take only as prescribed by your doctor.

  4. Do not take longer than recommended — risk of dependence may occur with prolonged use.


When Not to Use:

Do not use Campex-P if you:

  • Are allergic to Tramadol, Paracetamol, or any other ingredients.

  • Have severe liver or kidney impairment.

  • Have acute alcohol intoxication or are taking sleeping pills, tranquilizers, or narcotics.

  • Have a history of seizures or epilepsy.

  • Are taking or recently took (within 14 days) any MAO inhibitors (antidepressants).

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless prescribed by a doctor.


Side Effects:

Common side effects:

  • Dizziness or drowsiness

  • Nausea, vomiting, or constipation

  • Headache

  • Dry mouth

  • Fatigue or sweating

Serious side effects (seek medical attention):

  • Breathing difficulties or shallow breathing

  • Confusion or hallucinations

  • Seizures (convulsions)

  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (liver damage)

  • Allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling)


Precautions & Warnings:

  • May cause drowsiness or dizziness – avoid driving or operating machinery.

  • Avoid alcohol – increases risk of liver damage and sedation.

  • Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or respiratory problems.

  • Do not take other Paracetamol-containing medicines simultaneously.

  • Prolonged use may lead to dependence or withdrawal symptoms.

  • Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation without medical advice.


Drug Interactions:

Campex-P may interact with:

  • Antidepressants (SSRIs, MAOIs, TCAs) – risk of serotonin syndrome

  • Sedatives, opioids, or alcohol – enhanced drowsiness and respiratory depression

  • Carbamazepine, Phenytoin – may reduce tramadol effect

  • Warfarin – increased bleeding risk

  • Other Paracetamol-containing products – may cause overdose


Storage/Disposal:

  • Store below 30°C, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Do not store in bathrooms or near moisture.

  • Dispose of unused tablets safely; do not flush down toilets.

  • Prescription Only Medicine (Rx)

  • Controlled Drug (Schedule IV) due to Tramadol content
