Description

Ranzol-XR (500mg) is an extended-release statin medication used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It helps reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and cardiovascular disease by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production. Its extended-release formulation allows for once-daily dosing with steady blood levels.


Ingredients

  • Active Ingredient: Rosuvastatin 500 mg (Extended Release)

  • Inactive Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, magnesium stearate, povidone, and other excipients

Uses

Dosage

In Case of Overdose

Symptoms may include:

  • Severe muscle pain or weakness

  • Dark-colored urine

  • Nausea, vomiting, or dizziness

Missed Dose

  • If near the next dose, skip the missed dose

  • Do not double the dose


How To Use

When Not to Use

Do not use Ranzol-XR if you:
