Description

Renitec (5mg) is a prescription antihypertensive medication that helps manage high blood pressure and supports heart and kidney health. It works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing strain on the heart, and improving blood circulation.


Ingredients

  • Active Ingredient: Enalapril 5 mg

  • Inactive Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, magnesium stearate, povidone, and other excipients

Uses

Renitec (5mg) is used for:

Dosage

  • Can be taken with or without food

In Case of Overdose

Symptoms may include:

  • Severe dizziness or fainting

  • Rapid heartbeat

  • Nausea or vomiting

Action: Seek immediate medical attention


Missed Dose

  • Take the missed dose as soon as remembered

  • If it is near the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose

  • Do not double the dose


How To Use

  • Take at the same time every day

  • Monitor blood pressure regularly

  • Maintain a low-salt diet

  • Inform your doctor before starting new medications


When Not to Use

  • Allergy to enalapril or other ingredients

  • History of angioedema

  • Severe kidney or liver disease

  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding

Serious side effects (rare):
