Fortum 500mg Injection is used for the treatment of:
Severe respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)

Septicemia (blood infections)
Meningitis caused by sensitive organisms

Adults: Usual dose is 1–6 g per day, divided into 2–3 doses depending on severity.
Children: 30–100 mg/kg per day in divided doses.
Maximum dose: Up to 6 g/day (as prescribed by doctor).
Always follow doctor’s exact instructions.
Symptoms: Seizures, confusion, tremors, kidney problems.
Action: Seek immediate medical help or rush to the nearest hospital.
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered.
If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one.
Do not double dose.
Fortum Injection should be given intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM).

Do not use if:
