Genticyn (40mg/2ml) Injection contains Gentamicin Sulfate, a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic used for the treatment of serious bacterial infections. It works by stopping bacterial growth and is especially effective against severe infections that do not respond to other antibiotics.

  • Duration: Depends on infection severity, usually 7–10 days.

  • Must be administered strictly under doctor’s supervision.


In Case of Overdose

  • Symptoms: Hearing loss, balance problems, kidney damage, breathing difficulties.

  • Action: Seek immediate emergency medical help.


Missed Dose

  • Take the missed dose as soon as remembered if still on schedule.

  • Do not double dose.

  • Inform healthcare provider if multiple doses are missed.


How To Use
