Penro (500mg) Injection contains Meropenem, a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic used to treat severe and resistant bacterial infections. It works by stopping bacterial cell wall formation, ultimately killing the bacteria.
It is generally used in hospitals for serious infections such as pneumonia, sepsis, meningitis, complicated urinary tract infections, and intra-abdominal infections.
