Tonoflex Injection contains Ketoprofen (100mg/2ml), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is widely used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with conditions like arthritis, muscle pain, joint pain, trauma, and post-surgical pain. Tonoflex provides quick relief when oral painkillers are not effective or cannot be taken.

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)
Injection (Intramuscular or Intravenous) – 2ml ampoules
Relief of moderate to severe pain (musculoskeletal, joint, back pain)
Management of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis flare-ups
Pain relief in post-operative and post-traumatic conditions
Pain due to toothache, fractures, sprains, or strains
Adults: 100mg (1 ampoule) once or twice daily, depending on severity
Administered intramuscularly (IM) or intravenously (IV) under medical supervision
Do not exceed 200mg per day unless prescribed by a doctor
Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty breathing, bleeding, seizures
Management: Immediate medical attention, gastric lavage, activated charcoal, and supportive treatment
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible
If it’s nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one

Liver/kidney function changes
Chest pain or shortness of breath
Use with caution in elderly patients (higher risk of GI bleeding)
Avoid alcohol (increases stomach bleeding risk)
Monitor blood pressure during long-term use
Not recommended for long-term use without medical advice
Inform doctor about any history of ulcers, asthma, or heart disease
Other NSAIDs (ibuprofen, diclofenac, aspirin) – increase risk of bleeding
Anticoagulants (warfarin, heparin) – higher bleeding risk
Corticosteroids – increased stomach irritation/ulcer risk
Diuretics and antihypertensives – reduced effect
Lithium, methotrexate – increased toxicity
