Ferti-C 5000 IU Injection contains Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone used in fertility treatment. It helps stimulate ovulation in women with infertility and supports the production of testosterone in men with hypogonadism. Administered under medical supervision, Ferti-C plays an important role in assisted reproductive techniques and in treating certain hormonal disorders.

Women:

Men:

Women (Infertility): Single injection of 5000–10,000 IU during ovulation induction protocols.
Men (Hypogonadism): 1000–2000 IU, 2–3 times weekly for several weeks/months.
Boys (Cryptorchidism): 4000 IU 3 times weekly for 3 weeks, or 500–1000 IU multiple times weekly (as prescribed).
Administration: IM (intramuscular) or SC (subcutaneous) injection by healthcare provider.
Symptoms: ovarian hyperstimulation in women, early puberty in boys, or excessive androgen effects.
Management: supportive treatment; discontinue HCG therapy immediately.
Take the missed dose as soon as remembered, if close to schedule.
Skip if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose.
Do not double dose.
Reconstitute vial with provided sterile water before injection.

Risk of multiple pregnancy (twins/triplets) is increased.
In men, monitor testosterone levels, sperm count, and prostate health.
Avoid self-injection unless trained properly.
May interact with other fertility drugs (e.g., clomiphene, menotropins) – risk of overstimulation.
No major interactions with most other medicines, but always inform your doctor about ongoing treatments.
Store refrigerated at 2–8°C before reconstitution. Do not freeze.
After reconstitution, use immediately (single-use vial).
Dispose of unused vials, syringes, and needles in a sharps container.
