Mabil Injection contains Mecobalamin (Vitamin B12), an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays a vital role in nerve function, red blood cell formation, and DNA synthesis. It is widely used to treat Vitamin B12 deficiency, megaloblastic anemia, and peripheral neuropathy.
This injectable form ensures faster absorption and effective treatment, especially in patients who cannot absorb Vitamin B12 adequately through oral supplements.

Mabil Injection is prescribed for:
Vitamin B12 deficiency
Megaloblastic anemia
Peripheral neuropathy & diabetic neuropathy
Nerve damage due to chronic diseases
Fatigue, weakness, and neurological disorders
Supportive therapy in alcoholism, malnutrition, and prolonged illness
Adults: 500 mcg IM/IV, 2–3 times per week or as prescribed
Frequency and duration depend on deficiency severity
Always follow your doctor’s exact dosing instructions
Unlikely due to water-soluble nature
Very high doses may cause headache, dizziness, or diarrhea
Seek medical help if symptoms persist
Take as soon as remembered

Rare/Serious:

Vitamin B12 therapy may mask folate deficiency – test may be required
Avoid alcohol consumption as it reduces Vitamin B12 absorption
May interact with chloramphenicol (reduces response to B12)
